"Framer was the right call — the site feels as fast and modern as the product we're building."
"TweakDesigns recommended Framer when we were still deciding between platforms, and it's been the right choice. The custom animations and PDF viewer they built make the site feel premium in a way most insurance websites just don't. They've stayed on with us since launch, and the component-based CMS means we can keep building on the site without it getting messy."

About Loxa
Loxa is an insurtech company building modern insurance products for today's customers. As a brand competing in a traditionally slow-moving industry, their website needed to do something most insurance sites don't: feel fast, modern, and genuinely well-designed.
The challenge
A Squarespace site that couldn't deliver the speed or polish a modern insurtech brand needed
Loxa's existing website was built on Squarespace — functional, but limited. As they refined their brand and product positioning, they needed a site that felt as modern and fast as the insurance experience they were building. They came to us wanting to migrate to either Framer or Webflow, with one clear priority: speed. The new site needed to load fast, feel fast, and look like nothing else in their category. They also needed two specific pieces of functionality their old site couldn't handle well: a clean way to display policy documents (a PDF viewer), and motion design that matched the quality of their brand.
Our approach
Recommending Framer for speed, then going beyond it with custom code and motion
After understanding what Loxa needed — a fast, modern, visually distinctive site — we recommended Framer over Webflow. Framer's React-based output is exceptionally fast out of the box, and its component system let us build a CMS structure where every page is assembled from consistent, reusable blocks rather than one-off designs. We designed the full site in Figma first, then built it in Framer — including custom code where Framer's native capabilities needed extending, particularly for the PDF viewer that lets Loxa's customers view policy documents directly on the site without downloading anything. For the brand's motion identity, we built custom animations using After Effects, integrated directly into the Framer build — giving Loxa a level of visual polish that's rare in the insurance space. Since launch, we've continued working with Loxa's team on an ongoing basis — refining the site, adding pages, and maintaining the component-based system we built.
