Your Webflow CMS content is failing its own inspection.

Webflow CMS Auditor runs inside the Designer and checks every collection item against the rules that actually matter — missing alt text, broken links, oversized images, off-brand casing, banned words — before they go live.

Most CMS problems don't get caught until a customer finds them.

Content teams move fast inside the Webflow CMS. Without a systematic check, small mistakes — broken links, missing alt text, off-brand copy — ship straight to production before anyone notices.

Without an audit

Images publish without alt text, and nothing flags it until someone happens to check.

Editors paste in stray H1s and broken heading order that confuse screen readers and Google.

Uncompressed images slip through and slow down every page they touch.

Banned words, wrong casing, and typos make it to a live page before anyone notices.

A developer gets pulled in to manually click through hundreds of CMS items.

With CMS Auditor

Every collection can be scanned for missing alt text, so you catch it before you publish.

Heading hierarchy and broken links are flagged automatically, right inside rich text fields.

Max file size and format rules stop oversized images before they hit your pages.

Custom rules enforce your brand's casing, tone, and word list, automatically.

Editors get a clear, actionable list — and publish with confidence on their own.

// What it checks

Six audit categories, running on every item in your collections.

Configure once, then let the extension keep watch — from a single blog post to a database of thousands.

IMG-ALT · IMG-SIZE

Advanced image auditing

Catches missing alt text, enforces maximum file sizes, and validates which image formats are allowed.

HEADINGS · LINKS

Rich text validation

Verifies heading hierarchy, catches accidental H1s in body copy, and identifies broken links in rich text fields.

LENGTH · CASE · BANNED

Text & brand consistency

Enforces text length limits, strict casing, catches trailing spaces, and flags banned words site-wide.

RULES ENGINE

Custom audit rules

Configure specific rules to validate content exactly how your team needs it — no two brands audit the same way.

// Frequently asked

Questions worth answering before you install.

  • Yes. Webflow CMS Auditor runs as a Designer Extension, so it works with any Webflow site you have Designer access to — no code changes or CMS restructuring required.

  • The auditor scans your CMS collections and Assets and reports every issue it finds. By default, you review and apply fixes yourself. If you turn on Auto-Fix, the extension will make select fixes directly to your CMS content and Assets — we recommend reviewing changes afterward.

  • Any single entry in a CMS collection — a blog post, a team member, a product — counts as one item. Free plan checks up to 5 items per audit; Pro and Agency have no item limit.

  • Yes, on every plan including Free. You can define banned words, required casing, text length limits, and image rules that match your brand guidelines. Personal and Unlimited add background audits and scheduled syncing on top.

  • No. Once rules are configured, editors can run audits and fix flagged items themselves, directly inside the Designer, without pulling in a developer.

  • Personal and Unlimited are subscriptions, billed monthly or annually — annual billing saves about 20%. You can cancel anytime from your account; access continues until the end of your current billing period.

  • A Personal or Unlimited subscription is tied to the Webflow workspace you subscribed from. Using the extension in a different workspace requires its own subscription — it doesn't carry over automatically.

  • Your Webflow site needs to be on a CMS plan or higher, since CMS API access is required to run an audit. Free Designer access alone isn't sufficient.

Stop shipping CMS content you haven't actually checked.

Install Webflow CMS Auditor and run your first audit in the next five minutes — right inside the Designer you already use.
